I specialize in animation, graphic design, and creative direction for broadcast, interactive, and installation media. Under the name of Solar Power Design, I have been pushing the standards of concept, visualization, and design to new levels since 2000, while delivering media campaigns that are responsible and engaging.

Solar Power Design is an advanced concept driven digital solutions studio with unique perspective. My style is intuitive and organic, my ideas compelling and memorable, delivered in a stylish and sophisticated manner, and guaranteed to leave an impression that is right on mark.

I work on a wide range of projects for a diverse set of clients. Not only do I handle the conception, planning, and design of my work, I also manage relationships with artisans, manufacturers, and distributors. Passion drives my development and implementation of thoughtful and appealing media solutions.

My career in animation, design, marketing, identity, and brand development spans many years working with various business, technology, non-profit and education groups in both the New York City and Salt Lake City areas. I burn up the midnight oil as the Creative Director of Solar Power Design and enjoy composing, engineering, and recording music for Revolutionized Records.

Currently, in addition to directing the high-profile Visual Supercomputing Center Presentation Studio, I act as the lead motion design artist and video producer at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute. I am able to develop a wide range of inventive and persuasive media cataloging the pace of scientific innovation at SCI by collaborating on visualization projects to foster in-depth creative partnerships with the Institute's researchers, developers, and students. I coordinate the VSC's resources to combine high-performance graphics, computing, and data management technology to enable SCI researchers to solve complex research problems and share their findings with others.

My mission is clear: to create an inspirational workspace where students, researchers, developers, scientists, and industry professionals with different talents, strengths, and visions are brought together to work on projects that advance human understanding. As a designer and developer, I enjoy being able to contribute by producing media for presentations, meetings, promotional materials, and online documentation.

My goal is to utilize modern tools to inform, educate, and empower the peoples of the world. In the process, I hope to prepare others to embrace their interdependencies and interconnectedness in order to establish a cultural and socioeconomic harmony for future generations.
