The Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI Institute) is one of the permanent research institutes at the University of Utah. The SCI research group was created in 1994 and formally became an institute in 2000. The SCI Institute is directed by Professor Chris Johnson and consists of over 100 faculty, students, and staff.
This identity short was produced for the SCI Institute booth at the Supercomputing 2006 convention in Tampa, Florida as part of the "Collaborate 2 Compute" brand. The "Collaborate 2 Compute" exhibit showcased the high performance computing research of the University of Utah and Utah State University at the annual International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis. |
